Chasteberry Extract

Chasteberry Extract / Vitex Extract is a powdered product manufactured from the dried ripe fruits of *Vitex agnus‑castus*, a plant of the Verbenaceae family, through processes including extraction, concentration, purification and drying. As a traditionally used European herb with a history of over 2,500 years, chasteberry is mainly applied in modern practice to regulate female endocrine function, relieve premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and irregular menstruation. It has been approved by German Commission E for the treatment of irregular menstrual cycles, cyclic breast pain and premenstrual syndrome.
